OUR STORY

Ur-Sltn Ltd was founded in 2011 in Paddock Wood, Kent, with a simple mission: provide reliable, no-nonsense IT services to businesses that need them. What started as server management and web hosting quickly grew into a full-service IT consultancy — covering everything from cloud infrastructure and web development to network security and domain registration.
As our clients grew, so did their needs. We saw first-hand how many businesses were struggling with website compliance — not because they did not care, but because the regulatory landscape (GDPR, PECR, the Companies Act) is complex and constantly evolving. So we built a compliance division to help.
Today, Ur-Sltn operates across two core areas: IT services and legal compliance. Our compliance scanner at ur-sltn-legal.uk automatically checks websites against 11 categories of UK and EU regulation, and our team provides hands-on remediation, policy drafting, and regulatory guidance.
