About Ur-Sltn
Specialist server operations, website management and legal compliance for UK businesses — since 2011.
OUR STORY
Building Businesses Since 2011
Ur-Sltn Ltd was founded in 2011 in Paddock Wood, Kent, with a simple mission: provide reliable, no-nonsense IT services to businesses that need them. What started as server management and web hosting quickly grew into a full-service IT consultancy — covering everything from cloud infrastructure and the management and development of WordPress, Magento, Laravel and Drupal websites to network security and domain registration.
As our clients grew, so did their needs. We saw first-hand how many businesses were struggling with website compliance — not because they did not care, but because the regulatory landscape (GDPR, PECR, the Companies Act) is complex and constantly evolving. So we built a compliance division to help.
Today, Ur-Sltn operates across two core areas: IT services and legal compliance. Our compliance scanner at ur-sltn-legal.uk automatically checks websites against 11 categories of UK and EU regulation, and our team provides hands-on remediation, policy drafting, and regulatory guidance.
WHY US
What Makes Us Different
24×7 Support From Engineers
Managed clients reach a Ur-Sltn engineer at any hour — the same people who built and run the systems. Critical incidents get a 30-minute response, 365 days a year. No call centre, no scripts.
Specialists, Not Generalists
We do not do desktops, printers or Office licences. We do Linux servers, hosting stacks and the PHP platforms that power UK e-commerce and membership sites — deeply, every single day.
One Team, Whole Stack
Domains, DNS, servers, code, backups, security and compliance under one roof. No gaps between suppliers, and no finger-pointing when something breaks.
